It&#039;s like when someone says &quot;I am great at talking with people&quot;. You&#039;re the one talking to them, so you probably know better than they do. It&#039;s like writing an essay about how you&#039;re great at writing. 

I think non-technical people fall into this a lot though. If you don&#039;t have much work experience coming out of business school, I can see how it&#039;s difficult to pinpoint your definite skills. A good strategy might be to search through the profiles of people you respect and look up to on LinkedIn, and see how they specify their own skills - then work as hard as you can towards the point where you can say you qualify as [X].</description>

Maybe tough to think through because it&#039;s so generic and/or specific, depending on how you talk about it...but always great to offer up some positive solutions when proposing a negative I find.
